Im SRINIVAS (MECHANICAL). I attended RIL at Loyola college, Chennai. Nearly 3500 students were participated. For written test they fixed aggregate as 70 but due to more applications they increased % to nearly 80.
There are two tests.
1.MAT (30 mins,75 Q)
2.TAT (30 mins,50 Q)
1. MENTAL ABILITY TEST
There are questions from series, antonyms, vocabulary, proverbs, odd one out, ratios and alphabetical games. no need for special preparation but you should have sound knowledge in vocabulary. time management is must. they are repeating the same questions for 7 years.

There are questions from metallurgy (10 q), strength of materials,thermal and manufacturing. Special preparation is necessary.they asked 2 Q from each subject.very tough questions.

They eliminated lot of guyz in the written test itself. They conducted personal interview at a hotel next day.
For freshers they tested the technical knowledge and for experienced only family background and their field of work.
